Someone once told me I was a dreamer and that I needed to be more realistic about what I wanted in my life. Well to that person I say look at me now.
I live in a peaceful community in California exactly like I wanted (I always felt the ocean would help me feel more centered, which it has). I have an awesome, super silly husband who makes me laugh and gets all my jokes. It’s great to feel like you are too funny. I live in a crazy busy house filled to the brim with kids, dogs, cats, fish and chickens. (YES, I have chickens).
I fell in love with the Waldorf educational philosophy six years ago and we now homeschool our children using Rudolf Steiner’s ideas (Ginger & Estelle think I am nuts). We try to live a quiet life filled with books, creativity and nature.
My goals in life are
- to read good books
- to find inspiration in every day life
- to travel the country and the world
- to always learn
- to start my own business designing couture clothing for dolls (yes, I would like to be the Versace of the American Girl, you try it, it is not easy)
- to be good to Mother Earth
- to always be creating with my heart and my hands
- to inspire others to be kind to others, to do great things, and to find happiness even when things aren’t so happy
- and most importantly – to always listen to my kids who may be young but are wise in all things (“whatever” says Ginger & Estelle).
