So I just fired up Tweetdeck and there was your Tweet about this post and I just HAD to click on it…

I’ve been planning next summer’s vacation to Tokyo all evening and now I’m feeling guilty about taking a real vacation…not!

This is a really good list, Ginger. I hope that you get everyone of your wishes, but even if you only get a few, you’ll be happy.

Does this mean we aren’t giving gifts this year? Seriously, great advice. Sometimes we try too hard to focus on purchasing the shiny new toys or the item that shows we cared with our pocketbook. Items from the heart mean a lot. Just please don’t give me any cookies, my hips don’t like them.

I had one of those moments on Monday afternoon. My wife came in the house and I was expecting her to have my two grandsons with her, but she was by herself. When I asked her about that she said that 10 and 7 wanted to ring the doorbell and “surprise” me and would I please play along.

So, when the bell rang I went to the door and opened it to see two small guys come charging in at me yelling “Surprise!”

I dropped to my knees and scooped them into my arms and just basked in the love…
